How Do I Add a New Page to the Website Menu? (With Video)

You've created a new page and you want to add it to the navigation menu on top of your website. This article will walk you through how to add a new page to the menu as an independent item. To add pages below a menu item you will either add a category or add it to an existing category, pages in the menu like home, about or contact are independent pages not a category.

Important: The page you wish to add must be published on your site before it can be included in the menu. It cannot be in a scheduled or draft status.

How To Add a Page to the Website Navigation Menu

Follow these steps to add a page to the navigation menu. To watch a video on the process, tap HERE.


You can manage the main navigation menu when you are logged in to your account.

  1. From the TurnCage Dashboard, tap the Settings icon.
  2. Select Nav & Menu.


  1. Click Add New+ at the bottom of the page.


  1. Choose the Page option from the left side.
  2. Select the page to add from the right side.


  1. Enter a short 2 word (15 character max) menu name,
  2. Click the Add button.


  1. Tap the Update button to apply the changes.
